I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with children and families. I have worked in school settings, including elementary and high school, providing individual and family therapy as well as supporting students, parents, and teachers in creating supportive school environments. I have also provided intensive in-home behavioral support and parent coaching for children and families at risk of losing home or school placement.
Currently, I specialize in working with trauma and resulting symptoms, including anxiety, low self-esteem, and relationship challenges. I love supporting individuals in building compassion for themselves and reframing stories to build more authentic, connected lives.
I’m from California originally and got my B.A. in Psychology at UCLA. I moved to Colorado in 2015 and got my Masters in Social Work at MSU Denver. I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy and use this with clients of all ages. I also have training in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, child- centered play therapy, and synergetic play therapy. My work is informed by interpersonal neurobiology with a focus on how we store memories and experiences and the power that relationships have to change brains.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside, painting, and cooking.
